The government of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department approved the up-gradation of SSTs KPK. Finance Department upgraded the post of SST (M/F) FROM BS-16 TO BS-17 dated 15.02.2021. This order was issued by the direction of the worthy Peshawar High Court. The Updgradaton of SST to BPS-17 has also approved by the Provincial Assembly also. These SST are appointed in Middle, High, and Higher schools. The Ministry of Finance has also approved the budget for the upgraded posts. Previously secondary school teachers protested and demanded government upgrade them. While Protesting, they were holding banners with the demand that government upgrades them. The government of KPK upgraded the Clerks community in 2015. They demanded that other teachers of different cadre upgraded in the province.
We inform the audience, government-up graded primary school teachers from BPS -07 to BPS-14 and elementary class teachers from BPS-09 to BPS 15 and SST are still working in BPS 15. They demanded one step higher grade.

Upgradation of SSTs In Punjab
The government decided to upgrade the employees on the pattern of KPK. Last week while addressing the press conference Defence Minister told the media persons in Islamabad. Punjab teachers participated in the demonstration. It is good news for SSTs working in Punjab. They upgraded soon. Ex-Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad upgraded the teacher of Punjab. SSTs not awarded one-step upgrades. The upgradations of teachers approved on 01-01-2018. Hopefully, the PTI government upgrade the teachers in Punjab.

Regularization of AEO and SSE Punjab
Assistant education officers (AEO) and Secondary School Educators (SSEs) from all districts of Punjab are protesting in Lahore for the regularization of services. For the first time in the history of the province, these officers were posted in all 36 districts of Punjab through competitive examination. The National Testing Service was a testing agency. The policy directed the District Recruitment Committees of all the 36 districts of Punjab to interview the successful candidates in the written examination of NTS and to hire Assistant Education Officers on a contract basis. Candidates who scored at least 60 marks out of 100 in these exams were eligible to submit an application. There is no doubt about the qualifications of those who pass this rigorous test. In addition, transparency and merit were ensured by the Department of School Education.
Third-party verification teams also deployed which checked the recruitment process in all the districts to ensure merit. Now Government Punjab demanded these candidates to give the examination of PPSC. The question arises, what is the justification for re-examining/interviewing the officers posted after conducting a written examination and interview for a post? They are fed up with the government slogans and repeated promises of permanence for the past two years. There are all-out protests in Lahore on 19-03-2021 and we will continue sit-in till permanent of services.
The Assistant Education Officers of Punjab want unconditional regularization through PPSC or any other institution without any further test/interview. Furthermore, through effective communication and cooperation with their teams, they have effectively changed the ground realities of the School Education Department Punjab.
