Academic Session 2020-21 Schedule

Federal Education Academics Wing Government of Pakistan has issued the circular regarding Academic Session 2020-21 Schedule on 28th January 2021 in which instructions have been conveyed about upcoming session 2020-21. This letter forwarded to All Heads of Institutions (Hols) and Islamabad Model School/Colleges (Boys/Girls). It is forwarded to Area Education Officers for information and implementation of academic session 2020-21. In this letter it is informed to all students about the schedule of the annual examination of the board, internal annual examination, the announcement of Results, schedule of summer break, and summer vacation is notified. It is clear that one-month summer vacations are expected.

Academic Calender 2020-21

According to this letter, the following Amendments are made in the Basic Calendar of Activity for the Academic Session 2020-21 to be implemented in all educational institutions working under the administrative control of the Federal Directorate of Education all F.G schools throughout the country.

Examinations

Board and Centralized Annual Examination of Academic Session 2020-21 Schedule for Class-V & VIII will be held on 18th May-31- May 2021. Internal Annual Examination for Classes-I-IV and Classes VI-VII will be held on 1June-15th June 2021.

Announcement of Results

Board Centralized Annual Examination for Class-V&VIII will be announced on 30th June 2021. Internal Annual Examination Classes, I to IV, and Classes VI to VII will be announced on 1st July 2021.

Vacations

Summer Vacations will be2^nd July-31July 2021. Islamic Holidays other public and optional National Holidays in schools as per notified by Government.

Commencement New Academic Session

 New academic will start on 2nd August, 2021.

Important NOTES

The given dates are tentative and subject to revision at any time in compliance with decisions of the Federal Government.Gazetted/National Holidays and Islamic Holidays will be observed as per Notification of the Government. A basic time-frame will generally be observed. However, a cushion of few days owing to any unavoidable exigency is acceptable under intimation to this office. This letter is issued with the approval of the Director-General (FDE) and the Federal Government.
