Chief Minister has been pleased to impose a complete ban on all recruitments in the Government of Punjab, with immediate effect. However, recruitments through Punjab Public Service Commission will remain to continue as usual. This order is issued by the Chief Secretary Punjab by the order of Chief Minister Punjab Pervaiz Elahi.

Notification of the ban on recruitment in Punjab is issued by the chief minister’s office in Punjab on 29th July 2022. This letter is circulated to all departments in Punjab. In this letter, Punjab Administration has directed further necessary action may please be taken accordingly. Earlier Pervaiz Elahi took the oath of CM Punjab by the supreme court order.
