Instructions regarding the dress code for teachers in federal public educational institutions are issued today. Female teachers were banned from wearing jeans and tights. On the other hand, male teachers are banned from wearing jeans and T-shirts. Female veiled teachers will be allowed to wear clean scarves and hijabs. Lady teachers will be allowed to wear sandals and sneakers, sleepers will not be allowed. Meanwhile, male teachers will not be allowed to wear warm sheets in winter. In winter Teachers will be allowed to wear beautiful colored and designed sweaters, coats, and jerseys.

According to the latest research evidence has proven that an attire that has had influences on the perceptions of viewers whether students or outsiders, is more than just wearing. In the first instance, the outlook imposes a very positive expectation subjective to the likeliness and behavior pattern of the students. And there is no doubt about it that a positive impression ultimately imposes a positive learning atmosphere. The dress code creates a long-lasting impression in the student’s mind. It is, therefore, felt the need to reiterate the importance of a dress code of the education sector staff. Therefore, the recommended dress for all staff working in FDE (HQ) and in educational institutions.
Dress Code for Male and Female teachers
All subject staff shall maintain a formal dress code while on the official workspace and institutional premises. It is recommended that all teaching staff must wear teaching gowns while teaching in the class. Teachers will wear lab coats while taking practical periods in laboratories.

Physical Appearance and Personal Hygiene
All Heads of Institution shall ensure that every staff member observes reasonably good measures in their physical appearance and personal hygiene. This includes regular haircuts, beard trimming, nail cutting, and a shower. Teachers will also use deodorants and perfume. All the gatekeepers and chowkidars must always be in their recommended uniforms. It is recommended that all support staff may be allocated a Uniform.
