The government f Pakistan Division (Budget Wing) has issued a notification regarding GP Fund Interest Rates 2021-22 on 16th August 2022.
Rate of Mark up on GP Fund 2022
I am directed to convey that the rates of mark-up on State Provident Fund i.e General Provident Fund (GP Fund) for the fiscal year 2021-22 are as under: –

| 2021-2022 | 12.40% |
In this latest notification about GP Fund Interest Rates 2021-22, the Government of Pakistan has increased the interest rate on the GP Fund from 7.p0% to 12.40%. Hence, a total of 4.5% is increased in the GP Fund rates. The civil servants who have applied interest rates on their General Provident Fund will now get a 12.40% increase on their GP fund balance. The previous year’s GP Fund rate was 7.90%.
