Here we will share paper pattern of 10th class and the pairing Scheme of 10th Class all subjects with you. This will guide you in the upcoming matriculation examination. All Punjab Educational Board has approved the pairing scheme for the subject of English 10th Class and all subjects which will be applicable to the upcoming board examination 2021 the detail is as under. This is the question-wise Guidelines as per ALP for candidates appearing in SSC Annual 2021(10th Class) in the subject of English. The scheme we are sharing is for English compulsory essay-type paper. The timing of the paper will be 2:10 hours containing 56 marks.
English Compulsory (Essay Type)
Here we will discuss with the students about paper pattern English compulsory essay type paper. This pattern is for the year 2021 and maybe for onwards. We will discuss this in detail.
Questions and Answers
Question No2. In this question, the participating candidates will write short answers to any five of the following questions. This potion will contain VIII questions out of which candidate will attempt only five. The marks distribution will be as under pattern.
Marks=2×5=10
The selection of this portion from exercises of the units described in the Accelerated Learning Program. This question may select from the text of chapters.
Translation to Urdu
In this question No3. The candidates will translate the paragraph into Urdu. The students can also rewrite the paragraph into simple English in their own words.
Marks=08
This part will be selected from the text of all the chapter/units mentioned in the smart syllabus dully approved by the Punjab Curriculum Text Book Board.
Summary Writing
Question No.4. In this question, you will write down the summary of the given poem. Only one poem included in ALP.
OR
The candidates will paraphrase the given lines into simple English.
Marks=05
This part of Summary/Paraphrasing will be selected from the poems mentioned in the smart syllabus.
Essay
Question No.5. In this part, the candidates will write an essay of 150-200 in their own words on any one of the given essays.
Marks=15
The topics for an essay will be taken from the topics mentioned in the book of English grammar and composition or in ALP.
Indirect Form
Question No.6. Change any five of the sentences into indirect form.
This question carry Marks=05
In this part I to VIII question will give. Students will attempt only five.
These questions will be selected from the Grammar and Composition book from the Direct and Indirect narration portion.
Pair of Words
Question No.7 is about pair of words. In this portion, students will write down any five of the words in their own sentences.
It will contain marks=05.
This part will be chosen from the English Grammar and Composition Book according to smart syllabus.
Translate Into English
Question No8. This is about translation of the following paragraph into simple English.
Translate into English is an alternate question for candidates whose medium of examination is English or for foreign students.
This portion translation of paragraphs from Urdu into English will be selected from the ALP smart syllabus.
