The government of the Pakistan FINANCE DIVISION (Regulations Wing) issued notification regarding the Pak army pay increase 2021. This special allowance notification vides F.No.15(1)R-2/2021-445 dated Islamabad, 19 July 2021. It is further added that the Government of Pakistan has increased the 10% pay and pension increase for armed personals.
Special Allowance 2021@15%
Grant of special allowance notification 2021@15% to the armed forces personnel is issued by the competent authority. The Federal Government has been pleased to sanction Special allowance 2021 15% of the running basic pay to all the ranks of Armed Forces with effect from 01-07-2021 till further orders.

Pak Army Pay Increase 2021 Budget
| 01 | Army pay increase 2021 will be subject to Income Tax. |
| 02 | Special allowance for armed forces Will be admissible during leave and the entire period of LPR except during extraordinary leave. |
| 03 | The Special allowance 2021 will not be treated as part of emoluments for the purpose of calculation of Pension/Gratuity and recovery of House Rent. |
| 04 | Special allowance notification will not be admissible to the employees during the tenure of their posting/deputation abroad. |
| 05 | Army pay increase budget 2021 will be admissible during the period of suspension. |
