The grant of qualification allowance to the teachers of the School Education Department was disconnected by all Education Authorities in Punjab without any notification.

The honorable teachers filled many complaints on the portal and now SED has directed all authorities to grant qualification allowance to the teachers. M Phil allowance amounting Rs. 5000 and Ph.D. allowance Rs. 10000 per month is also admissible to the government servant. A qualification allowance or Phil allowance granted to the employees who attain the desired education. This allowance will be due from the date of issuance of the final result. All departments are directed to implement the instructions. The civil servants who have already availed the benefits of advance increment on attaining an M.S degree or not entitled to the said allowance.

Qualification Allowance Notification
The notification we will share here is for teachers who are working in the school education department in Punjab. The teachers and educators who will attain M.A / M.sc degree during service are eligible for this allowance. Departmental permission required for the sanction of this allowance. Employees who are working in any department of the Punjab government cannot take admission to the universities and colleges without informing the department. In this regard, Permission is required. The School Education Department of Punjab has increased qualification Allowance Allowance w.e.f. 01.09.2007 on attaining higher qualification. Higher Qualification allowance admissible on following rates.

Conditions
The qualification allowance will be admissible under following criteria.
- Higher Degree Qualification allowance for MA/M.Sc. will be grated on acquiring the degrees in the following school subjects i.e. Islamiyat, Urdu, Pak Study, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, English, Mathematics, History, Arabic and MCS from recognized institutions and universities by HEC.
- Higher Qualification Allowance will admissible for lower qualification will be substituted on the admissibility of such allowance on the basis of next higher Degree
- Qualification Allowance will not be admissible to the teachers who are already in receipt of any kind of benefit of higher qualification either in the shape of advance increments or higher pay scale
- This qualification allowance will be admissible to the verification degree by the concerned issuing authority.
- This qualification allowance will not be admissible to those who have drawn advance Increments on attaining the degree of M.phil or Ph.D.
- Only one M.Phill or Ph.D. allowance will be admissible.

Respected Mubashar Hassan M.phill allowance Rs.5000 on acquiring M.S/M.phill degree and Ph.D. allowance amounting Rs.10000 is admissible all civil servants to all departments. I think it is not admissible in this case.
